Heka Hoods arrive at the site as a finished product, already powder coated and ready for a quick and easy installation. They do not require brackets, FC sheeting, or painting.

Our Core Series product is engineered to AS1170.2 Region B or C (equivalent to AS4055 – to N1, N2, N3), suitable for most sites Australia-wide. We now have a High Wind Series engineered for Region C, ideal for high wind sites and northern regions.

Heka Hoods pioneered the first bracket-less awning system.
For some time, building professionals had been looking for a way to create a slimline aluminium awning that doesn't require brackets or any assembled supporting structure. Customised attempts were fraught with expensive customisation and uncertain results.
Heka Hoods set out to solve this problem, building prototypes, testing for strength and deflection, and engineering many versions of what has now become Heka Hoods. Therefore, the resulting hood is self-supporting at the flange and can be made in one piece, each element from the lip to the flange having a purpose.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENTHeka Hoods are versatile.
In developing our hood product, we realised a need for a simple connection system elevating our product into a versatile modular system flexible enough to create almost any desired shape.
Our unique strengthening system enables our product to extend to 900mm. And our connection system allows the awning to extend continuously along a building, wrap around corners, and step up and down various heights.
