HELENSVALE HOUSE

Designed with privacy in mind, the main living areas are centred on the outdoor courtyard. Full of stark black and white contrasts, our HH450, HH600 & HH900 hoods have been utilised in a number of different applications, all powder-coated in Monument.

The lower-level boats a classic-looking study, an all-black kitchen and living area, with a dining area that can transform into an outdoor room by opening the glass sliders on both sides.

Every room on the lower level can be opened to the courtyard, allowing the owners to make the most of the warm Queensland summers and maximising airflow throughout.

Heka Hoods have been fixed along the fence line to create a covered walkway. The front facade is wrapped in a large awning; a single-sided return with a mitred corner that extends around the side of the building. Below the hood, and surrounding all of the second-story windows, is a dark cladding, which brings the light and dark contrast from inside, out.

Visually, positioning the hoods over the darker sheeting creates an appealing mix of colour and texture, further enhancing the shade effect that the hoods create in the bright sun.
